The Frontier Man's policies regarding sale and licensing of his poetry, music, photography and visual art

In celestial gardens where dreams are sown,
I wander, a minstrel of secrets unknown.
A gift from the ether, pure, unclaimed,
In art and in melody, truth is named.

A messenger only, under heaven's dome,
My creations not property, but a journey home.
They belong to the whispers of the gentlest breeze,
To the dance of the leaves, and the hues of the seas.

No coin can appraise their infinite worth,
No boundaries limit celestial birth.

I had to decline a few requests to sell my art and I decided to put together a note explaining how I feel about sale and licensing of my poetry, music, video, and visual art.

My view is that true art is not for sale. Ultimately, I feel that my art is not really “mine” to “own”, it is a gift I received from the magical eternal source of truth and beauty on behalf of the humanity, and I am just a lucky messenger who gets to communicate that truth and beauty to the humanity in my age. Therefore, I believe that all my art and music should be enjoyed by the public without any third party having a veto over the public’s access to it.

I am grateful that I do not need the money so please no requests to sell my art as NFTs, etc. The only type of NFT projects I might be interested in are those that exhibit my art and/or music to a significant audience in an authentic and tasteful way. I am also happy to license my art and music to reputable high quality distribution partners and platforms if that helps me reach a wider audience.

I also derive great pleasure and satisfaction from collaborating with talented artists and I would be delighted to discuss any artist collaborations with those who find my poetry, music or visual art inspiring. For the projects I like, I am happy to license all necessary rights free of charge.
