Be true, my love, when night is long,
When right seems weak and wrong feels strong.
Let not the silver tongue of ease
Seduce your soul with soft disease.

Be true, though truth may bleed and burn,
Though every step denies return.
For only truth, through trial and flame,
Can fit a heart that bears its name.

Be true, when mirrors lie with grace,
And masks are worn on every face.
For love that hides from what is real,
Will never learn to thrive, or heal.

Be true, though silence buys you peace,
When speaking costs and comforts cease.
The whispered lie, the bright disguise—
They rot the world beneath the skies.

Be true, not merely to the light,
But to the dark that births the right.
The stars are honest in their fire—
So burn with quiet, true desire.

Be true to thought, to heart, to scar,
To who you were and who you are.
The soul is shaped by what it dares
To face alone, when no one cares.

Be true, for love is truth made flesh—
Not fleeting thrill, but something fresh.
A bond that time can’t twist or kill,
That grows more strong when all is still.

Be true, and I shall walk besides,
Through tangled woods and turning tides.
And as the winds ignite our flame,
